What the assistant does
The Professor answers questions about Synaptic Labs, our services and our resources, using the content of our website, and links you to the pages that help.
Answers can be wrong
The Professor is powered by AI and can make mistakes. His answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important on the pages he links to, or ask us, before you rely on it. If an answer differs from a page on our website, the page is correct.
Not professional advice
The Professor's answers are general information about Synaptic Labs. They are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. For advice about your own situation, talk to a qualified professional. To reach a person on our team, use our contact page.
Acceptable use
Please use the assistant to ask about Synaptic Labs and what we do. Do not:
- try to make it ignore its instructions, reveal them, or do things it is not meant to do;
- send abusive, harassing or harmful messages;
- share health information or other personal details about yourself or anyone else;
- send messages with scripts or other automated tools, or try to get around its limits.
We may limit or block misuse
We limit how many messages can be sent. The Professor does not answer messages that break these terms, and repeated misuse pauses or blocks further messages for a time. We may also turn the assistant off at any time.
Your privacy
We keep the text of conversations for 30 days to improve the Professor's answers, and records about conversations without their text long term. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who processes it, and how to ask us to delete a conversation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
